Haley I.
Haley, you were my “Haley Girl” and the protector of the yard. Sadly I watched you slowing down 3 years ago. It was getting harder and harder for you to get up and down. Every winter we would think it would be your last but you kept on getting up and walking. You were such a fighter. No matter how hard it was for you to walk, you still tried to keep up with the other dogs when they chased the UPS truck. Even if you couldn’t keep up anymore you would bark at them to keep them in line. You were definitely the leader of the pack. You taught Storm well and she sadly has stepped into the position of leader of the pack. She misses you and so do we.
This year it was just not meant to be. You showed me you were tired and it was time to go. You just couldn’t get up anymore. You wanted to go to the Rainbow Bridge to see Hunter. I am sure he was so happy to see his Mom. You really slowed down after he left you. The last thing I could do for you is pat your head and rub you as I let you go. No more pain Haley. Just running, playing, and rainbows. You and Hunter have fun. Every now and then look back for us. We will meet you there when it is our time. Until then, as long as we live you will live. You will always live in our hearts and memories. We miss and love you.
Your Family,
Keith, Cheryl, Ian, Chance, Urie, Storm, and Cali
