Brandi
I am finally getting around to this “thank you” that I have had on my mind for some time…in fact, since May 3rd when I love my beloved Brandi. It was comforting to have her “back in the house” so soon after we lost her and I appreciate your prompt service.
I phoned shortly after I received Brandi’s ashes and spoke with someone (I assume your daughter) to tell you how impressed I was with your services, and to thank you. It was a comfort to feel that my beloved Brandi was handled in a dignified, caring manner.
In response to your invitation to share a photo and a few words about Brandi, I am enclosing perhaps one of my favorites as it is a reminder of many of our happy times camping at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. Brandi was a great camper and loved riding around the campground in the golf cart. Each year on July 4th weekend the campground had a parade of golf carts and Brandi seemed to realize she was a hit with the other campers as she showed off in her patriotic hats that I made for her, loving every bit of the attention and never attempting to remove them.
Of course every pet is special to the people who love them and Brandi was no exception. She was sweet and gentle-natured…a favorite of her groomer and friends at our vet’s offices because of her sweet and trusting disposition.
I have recently acquired yet another toy poodle as I could not bear the loneliness of the house without Brandi. Of course you can never replace the one you lose, so I just consider this one to be an “add on”…another one to add to the memories, add to the love and add to the joy of living.
Again, thank you for making a very sad time more bearable through the assurance I felt that Brandi was handled with the respect and care in death that she received in life.
